Men of the Church,
As we continue to march through Lent together, we will gather as men next Tuesday, April 8th, at the Copeland House. We'll start with better-than-we-deserve food & varieties of water under the goodly hospitality of Bob & Dianne.
We'll hear from the noble and impeccably warm-hearted Noah Schwenk, who will introduce us to that great evangelist and revivalist of the 19th century, Dwight L. Moody.
Accordingly, our topic for discussion will be Evangelism. Is the call to gospel-ize the world for the few or for all? Is evangelism a duty or a delight? Does it matter? How do our particular circumstances and culture shape the way we talk with and to unbelievers? Is there encouragement and courage for the hesitant, the introverted?
All this and more at:
Convivium XXXIV: D. L. Moody & Evangelism. Tuesday, April 8th, 6:30-8:00pm at the Copeland House.
If it’s your first time, or your thirty-fourth, all men of the church (and male guests) are welcome!
Please RSVP to Father Zack, and so he can acquire the requisite volume of victual and libation. Reach me by email at zack@ctkbirmingham.org or by text/call at 719-659-6219.
